Am Ziel angekommen legt der Wanderer seinen Rucksack ab. Er kramt das Zelt heraus, Verpflegung und ein mobiles Kraftwerk, das aus zusammengerollten Solarzellen und einer zylinderförmigen Batterie besteht. Diese hat er am Vortag aufgeladen, sodass er sofort elektrisches Licht hat, obwohl die Sonne bereits untergegangen ist.

ILAND selected to ensure power for the FAUX DUFAUX
The project team of the Faux Dufaux decided to select ILAND and its products to ensure the power for the remote location systems and more particularly for the meteo advances bases (measuring speed and wind direction), to tags and signalling the flight routes and for the broadcast of telecommunication (WiFI GSM, 3G, etc..).

Japan öffnet Markt für ILAND Green Technologies SA
Neuchatel, 25. März 2013. Seit über einem Jahr hat ILAND Green Technologies SA die Durchdringung des japanischen Marktes vorbereitet, um dort seine autonomen mobilen Solaranlagen zu vermarkten. Das Iland Management ist daher hoch erfreut, berichten zu können, dass Iland in Japan von VTEC vertreten wird, einem Unternehmen, welches als Großhändler für innovative Technologien und für erneuerbare Energien tätig ist.
Die Markteinführung der Produkte auf dem japanischen Markt ist ein wichtiger Schritt für die Firma, welcher dank der neuen Produktreihe Iland zum Marktführer im Land der aufgehenden Sonne werden läßt.

MARATHON DES SABLES : A NEW SUCCESS FOR ILAND!
Sunday ended the 28th Marathon des Sables. ILAND did not take holidays in Morocco but was present for several reasons:
To demonstrate that it’s possible to electrify an international event with solar energy. The result was surprising; ILAND not only honoured its mission, but produces more energy than what was requested.
The ILAND products have perfectly resisted at all climate attacks. With temperatures of 55 degrees measured, sandstorms, daily moving location, transport in hold local tracks, etc., but our products have perfectly functioned from the first to the last day.
SOLAR MODULES: with temperatures of 85 degrees measured on the solar panels, it could be expected, as with most other technologies, which our solar panels do not produce so well! With ILAND MODULES we planned with less than 80 amps current but we were producing 150 daily! Production was even better as planned! No other technology allows a better success!
BIGBOX: our new Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries were also surprising. Displayed and transported in all places of the base camp, they functioned even during sandstorms. Unlike lead acid batteries, they perfectly resist to high temperatures and they provide incredible services: an hospital surgery was performed urgently thanks our BIGBOX and our lighting systems. This material has proved even to be better than the traditional! The BIGBOX provided energy for the media tents, emails computer, runner phones, command station, webcams and general lighting for tents and finish line.
TUBE: the TUBEs were highly appreciated by security team. Easily transportable, they were able to move around the camp to install lighting systems and charging devices.
TREK: the TREK was also appreciated for the charge of mobile portable phones.
FLY: finally, the FLY with a weight of 150g was recognise from the competitors for the charge of a phones or cameras. Note that the FLY must be equipped with an additional battery (60g) with some protected devices
We already tested ILAND products in the North, but not in so extreme conditions, with high temperatures, daily trips, dust everywhere, etc...
With the Marathon des Sables, ILAND have a new record to it credit: to be the first solar developer into the world to propose autonomous mobile solutions for global events, in the North or in South place of the world !
